In addition, Penco® JellyBar contains a unique isomaltulose disaccharide (Palatinose TM) for the gradual release of energy during prolonged sports performance. Isomaltulose is metabolised more slowly in the body without significant increases in blood glucose. It provides muscle and brain with the same amount of energy as cane and beet sugar, but at longer intervals.

As a suitable fruit ingredient, we have chosen a blend of apple and peach, which is a low-glycemic fruit species. Like Palatinose, they increase blood sugar levels more slowly, and the body stays saturated for longer. Apples contain calcium and magnesium in addition to potassium.
